Blue Fireball part number: T-02
Allows you to attach cameras and other accessories with a standard T female thread to the rear of SCT telescopes. This adapter has a standard female SCT thread (2" 24TPI) on one side, and a standard male T / T2 thread (M42x0.75) on the other side.
2-piece construction allows you to rotate the attached accessory to any desired angle. Solid aluminum construction with quality anodized finish. If the male SCT thread you attach this adapter to is smaller than the female SCT thread on this adapter, then additional internal spacers may be required to lock the adapter setup into place.

Cons: Comments:I purchased this adapter to use on my 5" and 8" SCTs. The adapter provides the perfect spacing for my f/3.3 focal reducer when used with my ZWO ASI120M camera and color filter wheel. The anodizing is excellent, and the machining is smooth with a perfect fit on both ends.

Cons: Comments:I'd rather keep the imaging neat and trim. If you are using a SCT, the mass of your camera will be closer to the tube (less back heavy).

Comments:I use this to connect my Nikon D5100 to my Celestron 6SE. The low profile allows me to connect the camera at prime focus in a way that it won't swing loosely as the scope moves throughout the night, as well as keeping the camera close enough to the OTA that it doesn't strike the base of the mount ever.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
The only draw back is due to the low profile, it is extreamly hard to get the threads lined up when hooking it onto the scope, but there is no way to avoid this. I am very satisfied.This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
