Description/Uses:
- 2"-to-SCT Thread Adapter
- 2" short (low profile) male barrel on one side with a male SCT thread on the other side
- Used to connect SCT threaded accessories to 2" barrels. Will work if the SCT female thread on your accessory is short (up to about 5.5mm. Additional tightening washers/spacers (not included) may be required for longer SCT threads).
Features:
- Precision machined, black anodized aluminum
- 2" barrel features safety recess groove and is threaded for standard 2" filters

Cons:Use A Spacer For A Fit
Comments:I have SCT telescopes and recently obtained a large refractor with a 2" focuser. This product allows to me to use all my SCT accessories without out my buying additional diagonals, etc.

Pros:Compact,Easy to Use
Cons:A little bit too short
Comments:A had to place a ring between the thread and the SCT-nose accessory because the item is a little bit too short. It works perfectly with the ring.

Pros:Strong Construction,Compact
Cons:Not long enough
Comments:The adapter is made of metal and is all black inside and out. It has threads for 2" filters and it's not heavy at all. I noticed a couple of issues with it.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
First, it won't work well in focusers or visual backs with compression rings; the visual axis of the light will be bend because the compression ring won't keep this adapter straight. If the focuser or visual back has screws there is no problem with it. If the focuser has 3 screws it's even better.
Second, the threaded part of the adapter (not the filter side) is not very long for every accessory to work. Two Meade 2" diagonals won't work with it: the 07205 and the 07222. The adapter is short and the diagonals do not attach firmly. It needs to be extended by 2mm to work perfectly. Some type of ring introduced between the adapter and the diagonals would fix the problem.
The adapter works well with SCT focal reducers, SCT-type nebular filters and other similar accessories. It is very useful in various setups you may want to work with.This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com

Comments:This adapter allows me to use SCT thread accessories behind my 2in focuser. A must have for fine focus with off-axis, T-adapter, even a 1.25in visual back for small accs! Really glad to have it!!
