The Celestron CrossAim reticle eyepiece is ideal for accurate polar alignment. This eyepiece is designed with an adjustable red LED light brightness control that illuminates crosshairs and preserves night vision.
The CrossAim reticle is well suited for use with off axis guiders for centering and guiding of the stars. There is a double crosshair reticle in the crossaim eyepiece for accurate centering and guiding of the stars. With fully coated optics, this eyepiece is superb in having excellent light transmission on faint stars.
Product carries full 2 year Celestron factory limited warranty (within US/Canada only).

Crissaim Illuminated Reticle
Pros: Cons: Comments:This reticle significantly improved my three star alignments. Only problem is illumination brightness adjustment is not smoothly variable low to brighter.

Mar 28, 2015Does the job but doesn't impress
Pros: Cons: Comments:Bought this mostly for aligning a computerized mount and it serves its purpose. What I don't like are 1. the reticle focusing adjustment is always loose, 2. even at the lowest setting the lines are still too bright, 3. poor eye relief. This was my first illuminated reticle ep so I can't compare it to any others.
