Manufacturer Description
This low power Omni eyepiece is a 4 -element premium symmetrical Plossl optical design. Features include blackened lens edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize contrast, multi-layer coating group on each lens surface to maximize light transmission and contrast, and each Omni goes through a two-step anodizing process to prevent reflection from the top eyepiece barrel, unlike most other manufactures who use reflective surfaces. Threaded barrels accept 1-1/4" thread-in filters.
Product carries two-year manufacturer limited warranty (within US/Canada only).

Sharp and Well Made
Pros: Cons: Comments:This eyepiece is a bargain for the price. It is sharp across the field, and solidly built. I use it on all my telescopes to get beautiful wide field views.

Apr 2, 2018FANTASTIC EYEPIECE!
Pros: Cons: Comments:Sent this as a present to my brother, and he LOVES IT! The images are crystal clear, the contrast is excellent, and it is SOLID! Not flimsy at all! The field of view is fantastic for a *cheaper* eyepiece! Highly recommended!

Aug 3, 2011High Value Eyepiece
Pros:Bang for Buck,Low power wide field
Cons:None for the price
Comments:I use the eyepiece with five different scopes, f/5 to f/10 and like its performance in all of them. I'm in my 50's, and need a smaller exit pupil than I used to. In scopes faster than f/7, my 40mm plossl has more exit pupil than I can use. This eyepiece keeps it closer to 5mm, yet still has nearly the same field of view with a tad more magnification, due to the wider apparent field.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
Contrary to the specifications, this eyepiece (at least the one I recieved) has a barrel security recess if that is a concern. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Mar 4, 2007Nice plossl eyepiece
Pros:Good eyepeice for the money, rubberized grip barrel
Cons:Small field of view for a 32mm eyepiece
Comments:Very nice eyepiece with good eye relief 22mm. Field of view for a 32mm eyepiece is a little small 52 deg. but is a good field of view for a plossi . Although this is a 4 lens design at a low price, still all in all a good eyepiece for the money. I like the rubberized grips and the roll down eyecups. Very clear view with no distortion that i see. Good eyepiece for starhopping.
