Manufacturer Description
GSO has enhanced the mechanical design of some of their most popular eyepieces to create an effective and innovative eyepiece that can be used not only for visual observations, but also for variable projection photography through a telescope. This new series Camera Projection Lens (CP Lens) is perfect for use with compact Digital or SLR cameras.
The top of this 2" eyepiece features an integral M57 male thread that can be exposed by unscrewing a threaded guard. Using an M57-T2 adapter and a T-ring specific to your camera brand (both sold separately), you can connect your camera to this eyepiece. This combination can be inserted into any telescope with a 2" focuser tube. The outer sleeve / barrel of the CP Lens eyepiece can then be adjusted to move upward or downward for optimum viewing performance, and can be extended until you have reached its perfect viewing position for your imaging needs.
The SuperView CPL eyepiece series features fully multi-coated lenses, generous apparent fields of view, excellent contrast, and the convenience of a versatile photography adapter and eyepiece in one intergated accessory for your telescope.

My most used eyepiece!
Pros: Cons: Comments:I purchased this in early spring of 2017, and used my telescope at least 20 times between May and August. That all came to a stop when the wildfires here in Oregon clouded the skies, but any night that I was out, this eypiece was easily my favorite. I have 2 Celestron Duo eypieces, the 10mm, and the 21mm. Both of those are very nice (In my opinion) but the wide clear view through the GSO is my absolute favorite.

Feb 28, 2012Well made and works great!
Pros:Quality Lenses,Easy to Use,Accurate,Strong Construction,Compact
Cons: Comments:With this projection eyepiece I was able to overcome the issue of not being able to focus my DSLR. This was due to my focuser not allowing enough travel. I put the projection eyepiece in and attached my camera and that was it, suddenly everything worked correctly.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes

Nov 19, 2011Valuable CL Lens
Pros:Lightweight,Accurate,Easy to Use,Compact,Quality Lenses
Cons: Comments:I use it for observation and photography in CelestronC9. I can connect compact digital camera (RICHO GX200) and SLRD camera (nikon D40) with M57 adapter easily. The adjustment of the standfast is easy in a sliding outer sleeve and is precise, besides. In addition, the outer sleeve is effective for the adjustment of the observation position of the eyes visual time and can avoid so-called blackout effectively. It is easy to use it in lightweight small size and is recommended as reasonable eye piece.
