Manufacturer Description
Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK Telescope
Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope. Objective lens diameter: 80 mm. Focal length: 1000 mm
Levenhuk Skyline PRO 80 MAK Telescope is an entry model in the series. Featuring Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design, this telescope provides high-quality views while being lightweight and compact, which means you can take it with you to whatever observation spot you find the most convenient.
This model can be successfully used for both planetary and deep-sky observations. But the capabilities of the telescope are not limited to astronomy observations alone since its focuser has a standard T-thread so you can attach an SLR camera to use the telescope for astrophotography. The lenses and mirrors are made of high-quality fully multi-coated glass, which guarantees sharp and clear views no matter what kind of observations you intend to carry out.
The aluminum telescope tube is set up on the equatorial mount allowing you to find and follow celestial objects with ease. A sturdy aluminum tripod features adjustable height and an accessories tray.

Pro 80 works fine for me
Pros:Strong Construction,Compact,Lightweight,Accurate,Quality Lenses,Easy to Use,Great On Bright Objects
Cons: Comments:It's my second scope, the first a $90 Orion, which works well but, has only a tripod mount and for on the go. (go scope) The Pro 80 has a very fine Alti-Azimuth mount on a great tripod, which is much better to aim and observe with. The telescope optics are good to, but there is a little cromatic aberration on far away objects, like Saturn, but no reason not to buy this scope, it works like a charm...
