Convenience
Pros:Easy to Use
Cons: Comments:This is used with a Meade LX200 telescope. The length of this DC power cord is very convenient, especially if one is away from home and needs to use the car DC power outlet -- then it will be appreciated.

Mar 22, 2013Powers my LX80
Pros:Strong Construction
Cons: Comments:My LX80 mount didn't come with a power cord. There doesn't seem to be an LX80 Power cord, so I got this. It works fine and it has a somewhat heavy duty feel to it. I wish the plug was extremely secure when plugged in but instead its just mostly secure. One slew too many and it will pull itself out.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? No
Meade: You really need to think these things out better when designing your products. How about a plug at the bottom of the mount that you screw in that never runs the risk of being pulled out by a slew?
Overall: Good value cord that seems well constructed. Would buy again. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Dec 1, 2012Meade DC Power Cord
Pros:Easy to Use,Lightweight,Accurate,Strong Construction,Compact
Cons: Comments:Good for extending the reach of a 12 volt power supply in the field. And the cord plug has a protective fuse in it.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
