Meade AstroFinder Software with #505 Connector Cable Set for Autostar # 04512

The #505 Connector Cable Kit with Autostar Suite Astronomer Edition /Software allows you to both operate and update your AutoStar equipped Meade telescope from your computer. For use with #497 AutoStar and Meade AudioStar equipped models including Meade ETX-90PE, ETX-125PE, LXD-75 series, LX90 series, and StarNavigator telescopes. Includes serial cord connector. USB Adapter sold separately.

Autostar Suite Astronomer Edition shows the night sky, constellations, planet positions, and more for any location on Earth. Controls any Meade telescope with a 497 AutoStar or AudioStar, allowing telescope control from the PC. The included serial cords also allow downloading updated software to the AutoStar from your PC, and additionally cloning one AutoStar to another.

Includes a 3 foot long 4 pin to 4 pin serial cable, a 6 foot long 4 pin to 6 pin serial cable and a 6 pin to RS-232 serial interface adapter. USB Adapter not included, available for separate purchase. For Meade 497 AutoStar or AudioStar equipped models only.

A Pentium II/400mhz computer is recommended. For Windows XP or higher. USB support (USB adapter sold separately) is available for 64-bit Vista or Windows 7 operating systems with use of a 64 bit driver available for free download at www.meade.com.
