Meade Deep Sky Imager Color
Pros:Works on any telescope; very powerful for those faint fuzzys; easy to use in time!
Cons:Slow on computers with usb 1.1 - needs 2.0; software is hard to understand at first!
Comments:Ok my review of the meade dsi-color. At first it's hard to understand the software but Meade has a web site with videos on using this so that was a big help!! I find it better for faint deep space images rather than planets but with the right filters it's no big deal! I used this last night and captured a faint star cluser and after about 10 mins the image was clear and had great colors with no false colors!! It comes with everything needed to start imaging and by that I would tell others to give it a try!! For used $300 bucks it has the views of a ccd camera twice the price!!
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesSort by
