      4.0 Good Beginners Scope

      Pros:

      Go-To, low cost, portability, quick setup

      Cons:

      Spherical mirror, built-in barlow, cheap focuser, shaky mount

      Comments:

      This scope is a good choice for a beginner. Above all, it is the least expensive go-to reflector on the market, although it`s go-to system is not very precise, it`s still invaluable for a beginner. Besides, it is easy to transport and you can start your observations in just five minutes.

      Still, it has it`s own drawbacks, it`s primary mirror has a spherical (not paraboloid) shape and it has a "glued" built-in barlow on it`s focuser, therefore it`s not the best OTA that you can have. Also it has a cheap, shaky, rack&pinion focuser, which is %100 plastic. It is hard to find focus especially when using a CCD camera, and you can`t just change the focuser since it has a barlow lens on it.

      Surely you`ll want to buy a better scope after using this for a couple of years but still it has a great price to performance ratio.
