      4.0 Good for beginners

      Pros:

      Price, cost-benefit relation, average quality mirror.

      Cons:

      Very unstable tripod, sometimes LNT can fail, Meade going to go broke at any time.

      Comments:

      This scope is very good for beginners that don't know the sky, as it comes with an LNT that levels the scope and points it to north, making the GoTo alignment process very easy. I suggest buyers to look into package specifications since the eyepieces that come with the scope may vary (my scope came with two 0.965" plastic eyepieces).

      The GoTo works very well and uses 8 alkaline batteries. After the scope is aligned it is very easy to find any object that is in the Autostar control. This scope has a very good mirror, a good quality mirror for its price. It is good for what is proposed.
