The Standard Orion rubber eyeguard
Pros:Works very well and doesn't cost much. Soft rubber.
Cons:Black color and can get lost at night at a star party.
Comments:The is the standard eyeguard that will stretch for most eyepieces. This one blocks out annoying ambient light and helps you position your eye in the eyepiece. These cost a little more then the winged eyeguard at 3 for under $11. This one actually works very well. I have two of them. Lost one at a star party, never found it. The eyeguard works especially importantly for wide-field eyepieces. It will stretch to fit most eyepieces and is very soft on your face when viewing in the eyepiece. One will cost $4.00 plus shipping.
