Good storage case
Pros:Durable, pick-n-pluck foam, air and water tight
Cons:Pricey
Comments:I got 2 of these cases to hold my accessories in for storage and transport, and they have worked wonderfully. They keep dust out and can even stay watertight, but I am not brave enough to try this. The pick-n-pluck foam is a nice feature as well. I have changed the positioning of the foam and have simply put back in some of the sections of foam I took out originally, and everything seems to stay pretty much in place. You can also dab a small amount of glue onto the pieces of foam to help reset them in the case if you ever change your mind about the position of things inside. There is also replacement foam available if you prefer, but I don't think it is necessary.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
The price is a bit high, but these cases are tough. Perhaps one of the cases from Orion with pick-n-pluck foam might be a cheaper alternative, but the Pelican case will last a very, very long time. It is also the perfect size to hold even Powermates or the the Click Stop Zoom straight up and down, not laying on their side. So it is a great size to really squeeze a lot of accessories into.Sort by
