The Rigel Quikfinder comes with two plastic bases (one for large and one for small telescopes). However, you can purchase additional bases for use on multiple telescopes. Leave the bases attached to the telescope tube, and simply unclip the Quikfinder from its base on one scope and move it to another telescope if you need to. Easy clip-on / clip-off means that there are no screws to fumble with.
This large base can be used on tubes larger than about 6" in diameter. For tubes smaller than this, a small base is sold separately.

Adapter allows use of Rigel QuikFinder on additional telescopesPros: Cons: Comments:
I placed the QuikFinder base on a TV Pronto using the supplied double-stick tape. My old red dot finder never lit up bright enough to use in some of the light polluted areas my club uses for outreach. It works as expected, being the same base as supplied with the finder. Be aware a well aimed knock can displace the finder from the base. I put the QuickFinder on a scope as one of the last steps in setting up.

Quite stickyPros: Cons: Comments:
I received this extra base for my Rigel Quik Finder a few days after ordering it. Agena Astro is very prompt with their shipments and I rely on them for 75% of my purchases, because they are the only ones that can deliver what I want, when I want it. This base went on a new newtonian I bought back in January. Although I had to remove it later when modifying my newt, these bases come in handy.
