First of all, I have been really impressed with Agena and their commitment to assuring customer satisfaction. I have used them twice now and on both occasions I received a phone call from them to assure my order was correct and that I, as a customer, was happy. Caring companies such as Agena seem to be in rare supply these days and they have earned my business.

As for the product itself, it is built well and suits its purpose as a mount for my 72mm refractor on the Sky Watcher Star Adventurer. Just note that the telescope attaches via a 1/4" bolt at the top that's easily tightened from below. The opposite end features a 3/8" bolt to attach a ball head for a camera. The bracket even allows you to remove the telescope portion to reveal a second 3/8" bolt to position two cameras at once. Pretty neat! Also, at the end there is 8mm threading hole to attach a counterweight. This makes it possible to DIY a piece of all thread and make your own counterweight if you wish or buy Sky Watcher's proprietary version. Happy skies!
