Manufacturer Description
The 2" Enhanced Aluminum mirror coating provides a 96% reflective surface across all but the extreme ends of the visual spectrum. The enhanced coating provides extra reflectance versus competing standard aluminum coatings. The final coating stage applies a tough overcoat to protect the aluminum. The diagonal body has the same features as the Everbrite. All diagonals feature brass clamp rings and filter threads. The Enhanced Aluminum diagonals are good budget alternatives, especially where a prism diagonal might otherwise be considered.

Tele Vue 2 inch diagonal--Enhanced Aluminum
Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought a second one of these to use primarily with Celestron SCTs. I have a Tele Vue 85 that came with the Everbrite version and have been able to compare them side by side over an extended period of time. For lunar and planetary viewing, I actually prefer the Enhanced Aluminum model, as it seems more comfortable and offers a little less glare on brighter objects. I have noted no great difference on stars, color, or contrast with the Everbrite over time. The one piece body machined from a sold block of aluminum is the same. This is simply my go-to diagonal for whatever eyepieces I wish to use. The screw and compression ring are solid feeling and there is no hang up of eyepieces or accessories when inserting them into the diagonal. For a diagonal of this quality the price seems like a bargain to me. Agena packing and shipping gets it to you fast and safe.
