The Tele Vue In-Travel Adapter # AIT-2125 is a 2" to 1.25" adapter that allows a little more in-travel for 1.25" eyepieces than their flat- top or "high-hat" adapters. It provides 1.5mm (0.06") of additional in-focus travel. This adapter is designed to attach to the 1.25" eyepiece barrel and convert the eyepiece for use with a 2" focuser or diagonal.
The main applications are:
- To allow Tele Vue Delos eyepieces (such as Delos 17.3mm and Delos 14mm) to become parfocal with other Delos models using the standard Paracorr Type-2 2" to 1.25" adapter.
- For other 1.25" eyepieces that may need more in-travel due to limited focuser range of your telescope.
Instructions Simply slide the eyepiece into the adapter and lock it in place by tightening the nylon tipped set screw on the side with the included 5/64" Allen Key.
