University Optics Konig 32mm MK-80
Pros:Good performer on axis in slow scopes, Good contrast and detail on axis
Cons:Poor edge performance, Problematic with Paracorr, Not for scopes faster than f/5.6
Comments:- Great eyepiece in longer focal length scopes. Makes a great wide angle "Finder" eyepiece for Star Hopping with a DOB.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
- In a slower scope it almost gives a Spacewalk feeling, much better than most 32mm on the market.
- Great light transmission for a 6 element design.
- Terrific wide field view in an f/9 refractor.
- Zero internal reflections
- Excellent eye relief and eyepiont.
(Only the center 40% is really sharp. The outer 15% has terrible astigmatism)Sort by
