Introducing the New William Optics 2015 Dura-Bright diagonal with RotoLock # D-DIG2D-ROTO-A2 - a dramatic step forward in the evolution of mirror diagonals! This diagonal combines William Optics' excellent 2" Dura-Bright diagonal with their new 2" RotoLock eyepiece holder.
Thoughtfully designed, exquisitely machined, and artfully presented, the RotoLock eyepiece holder provides a very convenient and robust method to attach eyepieces and accessories to your telescope. Just rotate the golden grip ring clockwise to lock any inserted eyepiece or accessory, or counter-clockwise to release the accessory. Innovative design ensures that you get a very solid hold and the accessory is perfectly centered every time. No thumbscrews to worry about!
This 90° 2"mirror-type star diagonal has a Dura-Bright 12mm thick mirror, 1/12 or better wave surface accuracy, and dielectric mirror coatings for 99% reflectivity which provides higher contrast and resolution during critical planetary, lunar and binary star observations. Features a 2" nosepiece for insertion into refractor telescopes and other 2" focuser barrels.
Dura-Bright features 100% real carbon fiber side plates that add that touch of class your scope deserves. 1.25" Rotolock eyepiece adapter sold separately.

William Optics Quality
Pros: Cons: Comments:I use this diagonal with my William Optics 98FLT and 132FLT when I take off the cameras and want to do visual observations. Quality is top notch like all William Optics products and Agena Astro shipping was fast. The 2-inch roto-lock is easy to use and the enhanced coatings and accurate mirror give exceptionally bright views. Highly recommend!

Jun 30, 2018Dignified way to attach accessories
Pros: Cons: Comments:I have a lot of stuff stacked on the back of my SCT and the RotoLock is the most secure feeling part of it all. This is attached to the back of the SCT with the other accessories on top of it so I can still swing to dec 0. This diagonal sits much closer to the scope than my Meade diagonal which lets me swing farther past dec 0 if, for example, the scope gets confused where it's pointing and I have to shut it down quickly. The extra 10 degrees or so makes a crash less likely. The thermometer seems a little gimmicky as do the carbon fiber sides but it's still a very nice diagonal.

Pros:Easy to Use,Strong Construction
Cons: Comments:Works well in my Genesis F5 refractor. Mirror is well collimated and the diagonal is sturdy and nicely finished. Love the rotolock which has worked perfectly with all my 2" Nagler eyepieces. I would definitely buy it again.

Pros:Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Quality Lenses,Accurate
Cons: Comments:I've been using this in field and it's been great. The RotoLock works better for me than the Baader ClickLock. The large knurled locking mechanism gives me a better sense of security than the lever type of lock with other diagonals. What a great product!
