RotoLock Eyepiece Adapter
Pros: Cons: Comments:I initially purchased a blue one to evaluate how I liked the adapter mechanism performance while changing out eyepieces. After three months I ordered a red one, so I guess these RotoLock adapters kind of grow on you.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
Nice build quality and performance for changing eyepieces while holding very securely when needed. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Jun 12, 2019Great Setup
Pros: Cons: Comments:Works well. After realizing my expensive camera was being held by a thumbscrew I chose this. Hold camera solidly and evenly. Excellent design.

Oct 23, 2018William Optics 2" to 1.25" RotoLock Eyepiece Adapter - Gold
Pros: Cons: Comments:I like how a full collar locks the eyepiece. Seems well made and much more reliable than a standard thumbscrew,

Sep 11, 2018Great Eyepiece Holder
Pros: Cons: Comments:Screw-lock eyepiece or Barlow holders offer the advantage of applying pressure all the way around the barrel of the eyepiece as opposed to a screw pushing from one side. This product has the great fit and finish as well as functionality typical of William Optics products.

Jul 1, 2018Very convenient Adapter
Pros: Cons: Comments:I far prefer locking rings to set screws or compression rings, and this is a particularly nice design as the aggressive ribbing makes it easy to confidently lock in and out of position. I bought the red one which is a perfect match for the red trim on my scope :)

Oct 11, 2017Rotolock adapter
Pros: Cons: Comments:There are a number of similar adapters out there, but this one is the best I have found. It is smooth and secure in operation, and the inner sleeve that tightens around the eyepiece barrel is long enough to work with all eyepieces I have tried, no matter the shape or 'safety' contour(some adapters don't tighten w/ some eyepieces). As with all William Optics products I have seen, fit and finish are second to none. Agena service is also the best.

May 24, 2017william optics rotolock adapter
Pros: Cons: Comments:the William Optics rotlock has a very smooth precision built locking mechanism- eyepieces are installed and swapped quickly & easily and are held securely with only a small amount of rotation of the collar and it releases without fuss or effort . a very classy, high quality adapter as well being very reasonable in price

Mar 7, 2017Rotolock works great
Pros: Cons: Comments:Slightly easier to use than the Antares version, but can be overtightened. It only takes a partial turn and slight pressure to lock in your eyepiece.

Dec 19, 2016Very good adapter
Pros: Cons: Comments:I'm very pleased with the quality of my WO Rotolock adapter. It's very easy to use, gentle on my eyepieces yet holds them with a "vice-grip". After using it for several months now I have complete confidence that it's not ever going to eject one of my expensive EPs.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes

May 13, 2016Great Product
Pros:Easy to Use,Strong Construction,Accurate,Compact,Lightweight
Cons:None
Comments:I participate in a lot of astronomy public outreach sessions where you change eyepieces often. I was looking for an adapter that would let me change EP's quickly yet securely. This adapter looked like it would do the job. The unit is very well made. You only have to turn it a small amount to release the eyepiece. Another small turn securely grabs the next EP.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
Don't be concerned if, when you first use the adapter, it seems a little difficult to get the EP inserted. I quickly learned that you need to hold the EP at a slight (10-15 degrees) angle when you insert the EP. Doing this, the EP guides itself in. After a couple of uses, this becomes second nature.
I'm very happy with this adapter. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
May 13, 2016RotoLock 2" to 1.25" Adapter
Pros:Lightweight,Strong Construction,Accurate,Compact,Easy to Use
Cons: Comments:Very helpful product. I use it in conjunction with my 2" RotoLock and never have to worry about my lens falling out. Very positive connection, and the rotation allows me to set the tension I desire. I strongly recommend this product.

Jul 5, 2015Best 1.25" adapter
Pros:Easy to Use,Lightweight,Strong Construction,Compact,Accurate
Cons: Comments:The Roto Lock is the best ever twist eyepiece clamp, accepts a wide variety of barrels, unlike the Baader, and the plastic inner sleeve means no marks on the barrels, very nice.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
