      5.0 Great value, small package

      Pros:

      All good, a super value.

      Cons:

      I can't think of one.

      Comments:

      I bought the 80mm black beauty as a wide field scope for Alt/Az viewing and it performs better than I expected. I'm not a "refractor guy" but the optics are very impressive to me. No false color on bright objects and stars are tack sharp across the field with good eyepieces. It really has outperformed my expectations for a little scope. Can even handle 75x per inch in a good dark sky.

      The fit and finish is superb as I heard WO is famous for. Focuser is a dream, with 10:1 and buttery smooth. It rotates 360 degrees, which would really be handy for photograghy on a GEM. I can't say enough good things about it. Very pleased with the purchase.
